Description

Nice place for picnic and overnight stay between Kars and the Georgian border. Well maintained picnick site and they allowed us to camp.
One of the very few wind sheltered places around. Ok facilities (water, wc, garbage cans, pergolas).
10 TL in 2021 (total).

Perfect spot, as it is one of the very few places around where there is shelter from the wind, thanks to the trees!
Relatively well maintained. Entry is 10TL (total) and for that price you get a garbage bag (altgough not sure people know how to use these). Bit of garbage around, but nothing we couldn't clean up in a couple minutes.

Report Check-In

Nice place to camp with restaurant next door. Be aware that there is a lot of police and military around which woke us up two times during the night and asking for our documents. Very friendly people but a bit intimidating because they were heavily armed and shining with flashlights in our face and around the car.

We camped here one night. Very nice right by the lake. New picnic tables, water taps and toilets. All built in 2017. Not many places for tents but we found a nice spot where the grass was cut by the lake.
