iOverlander 2

Available now on the App Store and Play Store.

After a monumental effort by our incredible team of developers, moderators and testers, we’ve finally launched our new app. Here are a few of the new features in iOverlander 2:

• Save your favorites!
• UI available in Spanish (more languages coming soon!)
• Advanced filters: sort by closed places, date last verified and by available amenities
• Add a new place when you aren’t there by tapping a spot on the map
• Complete dark mode support
• Make quick check-ins to verify a place still exists without all the typing
• Report check-ins and images as inappropriate
• And with our new subscription, you can also download offline maps!

Our old app, the original iOverlander, is still available for download. Both apps can be installed together. However, the old app is running on a platform that is no longer supported and although we intend to keep it live as long as possible, updates have become nearly impossible. The databases will continue to update, but the apps UI and functionality will continue to degrade.

As always, both apps support:

• Finding places on the map or in list view, even when offline.
• Viewing place details to see a description, amenities, photos, and other travelers reviews.
• Adding reviews and new places, even when offline.
• See the history of places you’ve added or check-ins you’ve made.
• Update existing information, report problems, wrong locations or duplicates.
