We arrived at night and we couldn’t stay. There were soooo many bugs (little blacks flies which bite). We didn’t even wanted to open the door to set up our bed. We decided to sleep somewhere else.

Beautiful spot and fairly quick access from the highway. Lots of cows on the way in and grazing around the lake. Birds galore… herons, shore birds, and songbirds in the reeds and grasses. A large white pelican even stopped by.

The lake is beautiful to look at, but a bit mucky up close. It’s larger than expected and there’s some fairly active fish, likely carp.

There’s are now at least 3 semi private camp circles. And if you have 4wd there are plenty of flattish spots along the dirt road on BLM land.

Stayed 1 night, very well maintained gravel road getting in. Pulling into an actual site requires driving on dusty dirt, but had no problem in my ford fiesta. Absolutely beautiful and secluded, tons of trash and bugs but still worth it! 1-2 LTE bars with Verizon

Spent two nights. Road in super dusty but for the most part as good as a paved road honestly until you get to where you’ll wanna park. Some glass and garbage plenty of cow poop. No cows when I was there. Fire rings and that’s about it. Tons of coyotes in the distance but no problems. Att service somewhat worked

Dusty gravel and dirt road leading into it, but doable with any vehicle combo. Verizon signal poor, AT&T ok. Lovely lake sounds and no one else around. Lake’s water is green and too dirty to be used for anything other than maybe wash some dirt of your car. Very windy!

There is apparently some fish in the lake.

Some previous people did leave two big garbage bags of trash. Please take all your trash.

Some fire rings. Nothing else around.

really pretty spot right on the lake! decent drive, bumpy gravel but managed it in a 40ft skoolie. plenty of room for a big rig to park and turn around, and surprisingly level in some spots. lots of trash unfortunately, and a bit busy with people fishing on the weekend. decent but spotty at&t, verizon is more inconsistent. all-around lovely spot though, would stay again

Its pretty far away from anything and probably you wont see any other people .. But surprisingly you have cell service .. You cant take a bath in the lakeubecause its too dirty!

Beautiful spot next to Cow Lake. A lot of pull outs along this road for camping or fishing access. Get 1 or 2 bars of verizon
