Really nice place, as everyone else has said. Very clean. Hot shower.

Meals are basic. They served us a chicken thigh with quinoa and vegetable soup.

All the recent reviews say it's $15 per person. Booking said $17. I walked in and asked for a single room. The lady told me $20. I told her it was $17 on Booking. She said that it is for a dormitory bed, but Booking clearly said a private room.

I didn't argue over a few dollars, so I paid $20. Either the price went up, or she decided to charge me extra.

Ample parking for cars and motorcycles.

Still $3pp to camp with no meals, or $15pp for a room with big dinner & breakfast. Big, social hostel with lots of common spaces. They have a little tienda with basics and some fruit/veg. Family style dinners and breakfasts for $3. Loud dog at night and traffic noise early, but worth it for the atmosphere!

Report Check-In

Good facilities, high pressure hot shower, nice games room with pool and foosball. Slept in van for 3 usd each. Used their big kitchen as well. Unfortunately, trucks start passing at 4 am and you’ll be woken up by that

Still 3 dollars to camp with tent. Clean and flat area. Friendly staff. Use of clean kitchen, free water, tea and coffee. Pingpong, pool, table soccer, nice and warm chill area!

This place is awesome. Don’t hesitate. Just stay here. Massive private room with bathroom, log burner in the room lit every evening with a huge supply of logs. Friendly staff and nice and clean. The price $20 including a superb and plentiful three course dinner and a hearty breakfast.

3$ pp for camping. Unfortunately the campspot (space for 1 tent) is not very cosy and felt quite dirty. We ended up getting a room instead

Very good hostel. 15$ pp (including breakfast and dinner). rooms are clean and there are a lot of common areas available. WiFi was quite good and we even had a heater in our room. Meals are good and big portions. What we didn’t like: they want to charge to refill your water bottles. Owners are very friendly and try their best to give you the best service possible. Perfect place for the quilotoa loop. The owner has put up signs and markings on the whole trail so you won’t get lost. Also he will give advice and recommendations to every guest for the next day in the evening.

Very nice place. Still possible to camp for free on the parking. they encourage you to have dinner and/or breakfast. it is 3$ for the dinner and same price for breakfast. Very tasty. The owner are very nice and take care of food allergies. only 3 spots for ioverlander (and one of it is not very flat).

Very good hostel! Two of us stayed in a room with private bathroom for $15 p.p. including dinner and breakfast, the other two could camp on the parking for free and had dinner for $3. They did everything possible to deal with allergies in the group, which is rare in Ecuador. There's a game room with ping-pong and pool tables and several nice places to chill in a hammock. People are very friendly!

Best Hostal in Ecuador I found yet. After cold and windy day of cycling I got hot showers, heated (!) room, nice dinner (soup, main and dessert- all very tasty). Breakfast is a little to early (7-9a.m.), but very good (eggs, tomatoes, bread, marmelade, cheese, yogurt and fruit salad) - coffee and tea is available all day - $15 for single room including breakfast &dinner. Nice, wood heated common areaS. Wifi works well in the morning.

parking in the parking lot, good overnight stop especially if you want to hike the Quilatoa Trail. We left our Van here for one night. Very safe as they close the gate after sunset. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and help for whatever you might need. We paid 5$ pP and if you want to have dinner ( incl. soup, main cause and dessert) you only pay 3$ pP.

Very nice hostal and friendly owner. Camping in the parking lot, max two cars. Clean bathrooms with hot showers. Good restaurant. We paid 5 USD pP per night. 3 USD for dinner and breakfast. At laguna Quilotoa it is very chilly and windy, we therefore prefered to stay here.

Parking in the courtyard of the hostal. Very friendly staff and hot showers. Free wifi, dinner and breakfast for 3 Dollars each. Cost: $5 per person. No height restriction (the entrance gate is more than 4 meters high) but big trucks will only fit, if there aren't too many other cars in the lot.

Good place to stay for the Quilotoa Loop and the Laguna Quilotoa.

Overland trucks stay here so there is room apparently but with a couple of cars already parked there it looked too tight for us.
