Peru
There are three separate campsites in the park, we stayed at #3 which is the farthest from the entrance (stay to the left at the fork). If you're here during the winter, it will be foggy and wet. It doesn't rain much here, but the fog is thick at night. If you're lucky it will clear up and you'll have a good view of the green hills down to the coast. A very weird place place, worth a visit if you're sick of the dry, dusty desert.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
new price, now it's 60 soles per person for 2-3 days camping, but you can stay at the parking lot in front of the gate for free, it's very quiet and safe, tons of flies
Report Check-InCame pretty late around 7pm and gate was close, so we slept kinda outside, 6am guard came and told me its open feom 8am till 7Pm. But we felt pretty safe.
Report Check-InPrice 30 Soles / person for 2-3 days.
Inscription on the ticket: Tarifa 30 Soles , válido de 2-3 días.
Good mobile internet.
The official price is 30 sol/adult if you stay only the day and leave at night, 60 sol/adult for camping 2 or 3 days.
You can negociate 30 sol just for sleeping and leave next morning
We drive in, watched, not realy nice and clean, so we go out, and drive to Chancay.
Report Check-In10s entry plus 10s camping per person, as at June 2015 (says so on ticket). Not much infrastructure but nice campsite though with a view. Very dry now (June) but lush and green July to October apparently. 1-2 hour trail around perimeter of the reserve. There are bbqs so shop accordingly.
